Consider This!
“Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing” Isa.40:26
Do you know how many stars are in the universe? Scientists tell us that there are about one septillion, that is one followed by twenty-four zeros [1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000]. And that is in the observable universe alone. “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name” Ps.147:4. It is huge enough that He determines the numbers of the stars. It is mind blowing that if you point to one He can actually tell you its name. And scientists suggest that there could be an infinite number of universes. So they are now beginning to say there are actually multiverse. So you begin to understand when the Bible says that God humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens. It is humility to God for Him to look down at those things in heaven. Then how can you doubt the Word of God? Why do you think that the Word of God that spoke all these things into being cannot locate you and sort out the issue? He can and He will, in the Name of Jesus. Just to refresh our memory, this is how our earth compares to the sun. God can leave us to marvel at how big the world, the universe, our galaxy, the sun and all the other stars are. But God still zooms in to earth. The earth is so important to God that He is mindful of what happens here. Then God zooms in to your country, then zooms into your state, then He zooms into your city, and into your province, then to your street, and to your house. Then He says, “I am not going to stand outside, I am going to zoom in to what is happening inside”. He is so detailed that He even answers the prayers of the smallest child. God, the God of the universe is standing right there beside you! He is laying His hands upon you even right now and He is causing everything that has resisted the Lordship of Jesus to crumble even now.
Prayer [song]: O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder consider all the works Thy hand hath made. I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee; How great Thou art…
