The Secret
“He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together” Col.1:17
“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” 2Cor5:17. Believe it! Sadly, some people hear this Word being preached but they chose to receive its power to change them only a little at a time. You hear such people say, give me sometime God is not done working on me, the grace is sufficient. But I say to you today, If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. So do not drift – Jesus is all. Don’t drift! I know there are things you are trusting and believing God for, I know there are things that are shaking your faith right now. But God is saying to you don’t drift. Paul was saying to them, Jesus plus something equals nothing [Jesus + Something = Nothing]. And Paul says I have brought another equation to you, Jesus plus nothing equals [Jesus + Nothing = Something].
Please read Col.1:15-17. What we see in the mirror is an image; in other words, if God stands in front of the mirror what will show up is Jesus. He is the image of the invisible God. “For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ…” Col.1:19. Think about that for a minute, it pleased God, God in all His fullness, to live in Christ. He chose to. “…And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory” Col.1:27 [emphasis added]. The fullness of God lives in Christ and that is the secret, Christ lives in you! The fullness of God lives in Christ and where is Christ? The fullness of God lives in Christ and where is Christ? The fullness of God lives in Christ and where is Christ? In me, in you, in us! Wow! Shouldn’t that set us totally free from every depression, every anxiety, every worry and every attack? In this secret revealed is the key to deliverance. As Christians, Jesus Christ is the center from which our lives flow. Anything else [any other thing] will lead to emptiness. This is the reason a lot of lives are empty today. People are depressed today, empty tomorrow, happy the next day, and beck to being empty the day after that. It is because they have not learnt to consistently make Jesus the center of their lives. As Christians when we learn the art [it is an art because you learn how to do it] of making Christ the center of our lives we find out that the fullness of God flows through us. Lisa Withrow says, “Christ at the center of life is the meaning of life and brings meaning to daily living”. Making Christ the center of life is the meaning of life. If you find out that your life appears meaningless, all you need to do is make Christ the center of your life.
Prayer: Father, I thank You because it pleased You, in all Your fullness, to live in Christ and it pleases Jesus to dwell in me. Thank You Father, in Jesus Name
