Must Have II

“One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the Lord, and the accuser, satan, came with them. Then the Lord asked satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? Satan replied to the Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God” Job 1:6, 8-9

What do you think would have happened if Job had been able to listen in to that conversation? Would that have changed Job’s attitude a little bit? What do you think would have happened? I hope you can handle what I am going to share with you next? When we are still worshipping at a rented facility, I heard a conversation that was going to shut the door to getting our own land. In fact, certain prophetic people had picked it up and they had said amongst themselves that we would not be able to take the land. They are Christians and they heard correctly but they did not tell me. But I heard it and I heard them talking and I told my wife. This is the sentence and this is what these people have said. But as God lives we are going to take the land and the rest is history. Things could be sealed like that and you would not even know. You have to be able to listen in to heavenly conversations. I always advise people to take spiritual exercises seriously because you need help from above. You have to be able to put your head on God’s chest and listen to what is being said so that you can position yourself.

Which leads to the second thing about the supernatural, you must have the ability to engage heaven. You must have the ability to engage heaven. Someone has come to you and said thus says the Lord… say thank you then go engage heaven and change it. Isaiah the greatest prophet of the land, the number one person as far as the prophetic was concerned said to Hezekiah the then king of Israel put your house in order, thus says the Lord… Hezekiah said I have heard you, thank you and he engaged heaven [2 Kings 20]. Which is why you have to take your walk with God seriously. Take seriously the spiritual exercises that the church does and engage heaven with all that is within you. Hezekiah turned and faced the wall and engaged heaven and before the prophet could walk out God says to him go back and tell Hezekiah he is not going to die again. The prophet has said xyz, so what? For they that know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploits [Dan.11:32]. Pay attention to your relationship with God, it is your greatest asset. Not only should you be able to hear the conversation in heaven, you must be able to engage heaven. You must able to bring your strong reasons before God and to say like Moses, God if this happens your enemies will laugh. God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and Abraham knew that it is not enough to hear from heaven you must be willing and able to engage. And he engaged the Maker of the heavens and the earth.
