“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Matt.27:36

What must I do to put my relationship with God intact? ‘Jesus replied, you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the

demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments’ Matt.27: 37-40 [NLT]. In other words, the only way to put your relationship with God intact is to love Him and share Him. That is the summary! Two things – love God and share God that is what Jesus says. You cannot share what you do not have. If your relationship with God is faulty, your relationship with men will be faulty. People who have issues with God get cranky at everyone. Love Jesus and share Jesus! Loving Jesus means spending time with Him. Block out a time to just be with God. If you love someone, you will spend time with that person. This is the purpose of having a quiet time; to spend time with the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit. Take time out from your busy day and just honour God by being quiet in His presence. Luke 7:36-46, ‘…because she has loved much…’ [AMP]; from this story we can decipher what God expects from us; the best of our very precious time. Love Me then share My love. ‘He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and that which he has given He will repay to him’ Prov.19:19 [AMP]; [Also read Matt.25:34-40]. God says if you cannot love a man that you can see, how can you love a God that you cannot see? Let your relationship with men be a direct reflection of your relationship with God. People should see how you treat them and need your God. What do I do with Jesus, I deliberately love Him and deliberately love men; you cannot love someone subconsciously. Consistently maintain your altar and consistently fellowship with God – relationship intact!

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me love Jesus and share Jesus. Help me consistently maintain fellowship with the Father and love His people.
