Knowing

“And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you”…” Dan.10:11

Always assume that the enemy is intelligent and competent. In your business, always assume that the competitor is intelligent and competent. At your office, always assume that the person vying for that same position is intelligent and competent. As Christians, we have an arch-enemy of our souls, satan. Never ever underestimate satan. I know we are victorious in Christ. I know we are seated in the High places far above principalities and powers. I know that before the throne of God above we have a strong and perfect plea, a great High Priest whose name is love, who ever lives and pleads for us. I know but do not underestimate the devil. There is nothing the devil cannot try; nothing! But on you, he will fail in Jesus Name.

Many of us know God but we really do not know God. When you see God and how majestic He is, that is when you will really know who God is. God is fearful to be praised. He is awesome. God is terrible. Guess what? The devil was Lucifer; he knew God. The devil knows that God is the Man of War but he still tried God. So who are you? Never think that the devil is a fool. You can call him many things but do not ever call him a fool. He is defeated but he is not a fool. Know your enemy.

In warfare, perception is everything. It is common knowledge that who you know is more important that what you know. But there is something more important than who you know and that is who knows you. There are some people you know but they do not know you. But still, there is something more important than who knows you, and it is what they think about you. What they think about you is more important than who knows you.

The fact that someone knows you is one thing but what they think about you will determine the value of that relationship. The fact that someone knows you may grant you access but what they think about you, can sustain or cut off the access. What they think about you is perception. Perception is everything in warfare. The fact that someone knows you is one thing, what the person thinks about you is another thing. In fact, it is the most important thing.

Prayer: Father, improve my perception about spiritual things and improve people’s perception about me, in Jesus Name.
