iBelieve

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” John 11:25-26 [emphasis added]

It is one thing to believe in the Person of Jesus, it is another thing entirely to believe in the Power of Jesus. I have friends [even pastors] that are believers in Christ Jesus, the person of Jesus. But they doubt the Power of God. I say to them and I am saying to you, the Power of God is real. God is saying to you today, beyond believing in My Person, I need you to believe in My Power. It is one thing to believe in who He is. It is another thing entirely to believe in what God can do. Close your eyes and focus on that issue. Jesus is saying, I need you to believe in what I can do. I need you to believe what I am capable of doing.

The truth is that when you believe the person of Jesus, it guarantees your heaven. But it is the Power of Jesus that guarantees your victory here on earth. So you can actually believe in Christ and know God and be fellowshipping and still be suffering defeat. Jesus was saying to Martha, as He is saying to you and I today, there is another side to Jesus the Teacher. There is another side to Jesus the Healer. I am the Resurrection and the Life. I pray that you will come in contact with Christ the Resurrection and the Life, in Jesus Name.

“Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested,…John 11:39 [emphasis added]. Martha believed but she protested. God is telling you to move in a certain direction, you believe in Jesus, but you are protesting. Are you a protesting believer? Jesus is saying, to get to that point in your life, I need you to roll away this stone. But you are protesting and saying to Jesus, let us not embarrass ourselves; this thing is beyond repair.

Take note that no matter what it is [your finances, your marriage, your health, or even your business], it is not beyond repair; if you will stop protesting and allow God to be God. The question for you is, what is Jesus trying to do that you are protesting? You have to be open to the supernatural. It is one thing to believe in the supernatural, it is another thing to be open to the supernatural.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe in You and I believe in Your Power and today I open my heart to the supernatural things of God, in Jesus Name.
