Surely

Habakkuk 2:3 “Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed. (GNT, emphasis added).

Live To Bless

Proverbs 11:24-25 “Generosity brings prosperity, but withholding from charity brings poverty. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favour.” (TPT)

Proverbs 11:25The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” God Will Open Doors For You If You Open Doors For Others. Be Watchful

Nehemiah 2:7-8 “…If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct…? And may I have a letter to Asaph, … so he will give me timber… because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.” (NIV)

Nehemiah narrated everything he needed, and the king gave Nehemiah what he needed for the journey, even to the guards he needed for the journey (please read Nehemiah 2:4-9). Nehemiah started the work but some detractors tried to stop him, and they failed. Read the rest of this entry

Be Ready

Nehemiah 2:4-5 “The king said to me, “What is it you want?” Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favour in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah… so that I can rebuild it.” (NIV)

Be Sensitive

1 Kings 3:9&12 “…give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong… I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be” (NIV)

D. D. D.

Deuteronomy 30:19 “Today I am giving you a choice of two ways. And I ask heaven and earth to be witnesses of your choice. You can choose life or death. The first choice will bring a blessing. The other choice will bring a curse. So choose life! Then you and your children will live. (ERV)

We will pick up today’s devotion from Revelation 3:7-8 I hold the Key of David in my hand. The doors that I unlock and open, no one else can close. And any doors that I shut and lock, no one will ever be able to open. Now I know everything you have done. So look! I am placing before you an open door that no one can shut! I know that you are not very strong, but you’ve kept my word and you’ve been faithful to me.” (CEV, paraphrased with emphasis). Read the rest of this entry

Doors

Revelation 4:1 “Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”
