Guard Against IV
‘So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.’ Rev.3:18.
The third challenge of being rich is you have a greater responsibility. ‘Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. Guard Against III
‘Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.’ 1Tim.6:18.
Every terrain comes with its own challenges and being rich is not left out. Even as the Lord continues to increase us, you and I must guard against being distracted from our true priorities. Riches give us the power to create options and many times those options are outside of God’s will.
