Grow Relational Roots III
‘Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!’ Ruth 1:17
The deeper your commitment, the deeper your roots. I know this is a very tough bone to swallow but this is the reality of life. It is easy to gloss over things and say all is well with every one. But we all need to face the reality of life. God has put you in that relationship. How does God want you to respond? Read the rest of this entry
How to be Spiritually Rich IV
‘The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more’ Matt.25:20.
Lesson 3: Be deliberate. Spiritually rich people are committed to be being spiritually rich and it is truly amazing. The same thing plays out with physically rich people. The people who are financially rich are committed to being financially rich. The people that are spiritually poor on the other hand wish Read the rest of this entry
How to be Spiritually Rich II
‘He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last—dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip’ Matt.25:15
Lesson 1 (contd.): God is not prodigal. Let’s assume that three people go to the ocean to fetch water. One goes with a teaspoon, another with a bucket, and the last man with a tanker. Will all three of them come back home with the same quantity of water? It will be totally impossible for them to come back with the same quantity of water. What will Read the rest of this entry
Make God Priority I
‘The first of the first fruits of thy land thou shall bring into the house of the Lord thy God…’ Ex.23:19
The fifth thing we have to reinforce or learn this year is that I must make God priority. Everyone that will have a significant walk with God and will walk in unprecedented prosperity must understand the place of prioritizing God. It is called the principle of first fruits. If you check from Genesis to Revelations God manifests it. In the garden of Eden God Read the rest of this entry
Only The Works Of My Hands II
‘The lazy person claims, there’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!’ Prov.22:13.
The lazy person is a manufacturer of excuses. ‘The lazy person claims, there’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!’ In other words if you tell the person to go out you are trying to kill the person. God says don’t be afraid of the people that can only kill the body and cannot touch your soul. If you are being threatened then protect yourself. The Read the rest of this entry
You Are Not Alone
‘Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. For there are more on our side than on theirs!’ 2Kings.6:16
When God opens your eyes and you see that you are not alone, you will dare things that ordinary men cannot dare. You will go to places that ordinary people cannot go because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. There is more to life than meets the eye and all that you see is not all there is [Luke.2:9]. You are not alone; you need to be open to the supernatural. Elisha Read the rest of this entry
Plans Of Good
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jer.29:11
Have you ever wondered why God takes you through some phases in life? Periods where you know without any doubt that you are walking with God yet you cannot explain the storms. Paul experienced something similar, so relax you are not alone. However, like Paul, you have to continue to see what God’s plan is and go for it. ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They Read the rest of this entry
Don’t Be Tired
‘…Now pick up the other arrows and strike them against the ground. So the king picked them up and struck the ground three times. But the man of God was angry with him. You should have struck the ground five or six times! …Now you will be victorious only three times’ 2Kings 13:18-19.
Many of us want glory in certain areas of our life. We want to experience God in new ways but are not willing to pay the price. If you want to experience God’s glory, if you want to experience significant change in your marriage, or your carrier, you have to go on your knees and stay there. Even when you are physically tired and your knees and ankles are hurting you have to remain in Read the rest of this entry
The Law of Beginnings
‘Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin…’ Zec.4:10
It is God’s desire that we start from where we are and move to where He alone can take us. It is called the law of beginnings. Some people tend to ignore the beginning because they believe that the beginning does not determine the end. While this is true in some cases, it is also dangerous in many cases. There are some foundational things that must be sorted before starting any venture and Read the rest of this entry
Commitment vs. Routine
‘And so the Lord says, “These people say they are Mine. They honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. And their worship of Me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote’ Isa.29:13.
God wants us to be committed in everything we do. He wants us to be committed to Him, to our family, to our jobs, our relationships and career because without commitment we cannot grow. Yet when commitment is done in a such way that it has no meaning anymore, it becomes just a routine. For instance, a lot of people Read the rest of this entry
