Heart Walk
Then Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse replied. “But he’s out in the fields watching the sheep and goats.” “Send for him at once,” Samuel said. “We will not sit down to eat until he arrives.” 1 Sam.16:11
If you must impress God, you have to take care of your heart. God is not interested in the car you drive or the designer of the shirt you are wearing. If you must get God’s attention then take care of your heart. Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons you have?” Now everybody and every Christian operates in some form of prophetic level and every Christian should. Every Christian that operates in the prophetic understands this struggle. God has said to you “fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there, for I have selected one of his sons to be my king.” So you go as led by God and you see all the sons and none of then is the king. And the next question usually would be “are like are these all your sons?” Read the rest of this entry
Priority
‘Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me’ 2 Cor.12:8-9.
The victory God wants to win in you is more important than the victory you want God to win for you. It’s not just about the breakthroughs; God wants to do a work in you and I that is more important than any breakthrough you and I can get. Some people want to be healed but they don’t want to be disinfected because they love the bacteria. It does not work that way. Come and be washed in the blood. There is something that God wants to do in you that is more important than what God wants to do for Read the rest of this entry
Don’t Stop, Keep Moving!
‘But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint’ Isaiah 40:31
The fourth thing that you and I need to know when the light turns to green is just move and keep moving. ‘Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.’ Isaiah40:30-31. God is saying even the youth will faint and be weary but those that wait upon the Lord will not get weary. Which car is the fastest based Read the rest of this entry
Focus
‘But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God’ Luke9:62
The third thing we need to deal with when the light changes to green is focus. Forward motion requires forward focus. You cannot be moving forward and be looking backwards. You are going to make a mistake or run into something. If you are moving forward be looking forward. ‘Another said, “Yes, Lord, I will follow you, but first let me say good-bye to my family.” But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God’ Luke9:61-62. If you are Read the rest of this entry
Act Fast
‘But as he came close to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace’ Luke 9:41-42.
Jesus said concerning Jerusalem, “I wish you knew your time of visitation”. The fact that God desired it didn’t mean it was known to them. The fact that God desires something for you does not mean it will automatically come to being. God’s desire is for all to be saved and go to heaven. Are people not going to hell? The fact that something is God’s will does not automatically bring it to pass. The light can change based on your response. One man said about the girl that God was leading him to marry that she had Read the rest of this entry
