5th Root of Personal Disharmony: Sin

People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. Prov.28:13

The 5th root cause of personal disharmony is Sin. God’s gifts of forgiveness and salvation are free for all but you have to accept His forgiveness and ask to be saved by Jesus. We are unable to attain righteousness on our own which is why we go to God in Christ Jesus. In Christ, we are able to access the promises of God because we have been reconnected through the ultimate sacrifice. God Read the rest of this entry

100% Lord!

I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. John 12: 24

Do you just want to be known as a Christian or do you want to live a life worthy of the Name of Jesus. A woman cannot bear her fiancé’s name until she is married to him. Self-Righteous?

My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to Your decrees. Ps.119:71

I kept myself and got married as a virgin, I’m now married for five years and I don’t have a child. If God were to choose someone to delay childbirth, why me, after all I have been faithful! I know what other girls did in school and yet they got pregnant immediately. Why me? A number of us have experiences that Read the rest of this entry

Familiarity with God

Peter exclaimed, ‘Lord, it’s wonderful for us to be here! If You want, I’ll make three shelters as memorials – one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah’. Matt.17:4

Familiarity they say breeds contempt. Never, ever, ever get too familiar with God or with His Word. All that you have and will ever have are gifts from God alone [John 3:17]. God is our Father, He calls us friend, nothing can separate us from His love, and He wants to talk to us. However, He is the Lord of the angel Read the rest of this entry
