Beloved Not Bastard
‘…Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all’ Heb.12:7-8.
When God has chosen to favour you, expect a certain level of responsibility. It simply means that what others do and get away with, you cannot do and get away with the same thing. I know Pastors that do certain things and they go away with it but if I try it I’m dead, as in literally dead. Absalom Spirit II
‘For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and punishes each one he accepts as his child’ Heb.12:6
Watch out for the spirit of Absalom. The spirit of Absalom would say, “that is their ruling but if I were the head of that department, my ruling would favour you”. That is an Absalom spirit right there. “If only Pastor will be spiritual enough and make me the department head, you will see how this department will make progress”.
