For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Just as divine guidance was key to locating Christ, divine guidance will be key to locating your destiny.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There are things I should have done so many times that would have cost me but divine guidance said, go this way &#8211; go that way. Yes, we need to make some mistakes and we all do make mistakes but you see, life is too short to make all the mistakes possible. We need to rely on and crave and hunger for guidance by God\u2019s Word and God\u2019s habitation.<\/p>\n<p>Take note of how the wise men turned Jerusalem upside down when they could not get guidance. One translation of the Bible describes it as pandemonium. And all they were demanding was, \u201cwhere is he that was born the king of the Jews! We have seen His star, we have followed it but we have lost it and we need guidance\u201d [paraphrased]. The challenge with a lot of people is that they lose guidance and they are passive. People lose guidance and they are more concerned with saying hallelujah and jumping. Get guidance at all cost. The wise men stirred the town up so much so that the king took notice of them.<\/p>\n<p>Every time Jesus shows up, there are at least four responses to Him. And from the story in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/114\/MAT.2.1-16.NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matt.2:1-16<\/a> [please read], you encounter these four responses, these four categories of people. The four categories of people show us the four ways that people relate with Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>#1. <u>The kings<\/u>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/114\/MAT.2.8.NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matt.2: <strong><sup>8\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><\/a>\u201c<em>And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, \u201cGo and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found\u00a0Him,\u00a0bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.\u201d<\/em> These are the big boys and girls; they mouth their loyalty to God. They say we too will come and worship Him but their hearts are not with God. The kings want to kill Him. Christmas is about Christ; the kings remove the Christ and just say happy holidays.<\/p>\n<p>The kings are the people that will want to legislate about Christ in the public square. Some kings cannot even stand that Name, kings that bleep out Jesus Christ like it is a swear word. They are the Herod\u2019s of this world. You and I must never respond to Jesus like the kings do.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Prayer [hymn]: Joy to the world the Lord has come. Let earth receive her King. Let every heart prepare Him room; And heaven and nature sing. And heaven and nature sing.<br \/>\nAnd heaven and heaven and nature sing.
