Either parental favour (which brews bitterness); or divine favour. God has favourites, it may not make sense but it is God\u2019s choice. God wants to teach us to understand favour and as such how to properly respond to favour so that <!--more-->it doesn\u2019t swallow us. Firstly, you need to know that the purpose of favour on an individual in the family is for the benefit of the whole family. God usually would locate one person in the family and pour out spiritual favour, grace, and anointing on that person. It could be financial favour, like Joseph who fed his brothers and their families for years. Whether spiritual or financial, favour is for the benefit of everybody. So if you are the one who is favoured, know this, it is for the benefit of your whole family. If it is one of your siblings that you have discovered is favoured, it is for the benefit of the whole family. Instead of being jealous, enjoy the favour. Being jealous over favour changes nothing, so you stop it. If you are reading this devotional, favour will rest upon you too by God\u2019s grace. Accept it and receive it. David was favoured and his whole family was tax exempt because of that favour. God has favoured your sibling because of you. This is a good way to look at it. There are people who started out being favoured but did not end up with favour because of how they responded. Be humble and ensure that you distribute it. <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/Esth4.14.KJV\" target=\"_blank\">Est.4:14<\/a>, if the person that is favoured in your house refuses to help you, believe me, help will come from another source. God is your Source, He will raise help.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, I thank You for Your favour upon my life and my family.
