\u2018O clap your hands, all ye people; shout<\/i> [shabach] unto God with the voice of triumph<\/i>\u2019 Ps.47:1 [KJV].<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

The word Shabach<\/i> means to shout, to address in a loud tone, to command, to triumph. You cannot shabach God quietly. Some people get very uncomfortable when they see people shouting praises to God because it is not civil. When you come into the presence of God, you must put aside being civil <\/p>\n

and forget who you are. God wants us to shabach. The classic example is Psalm<\/a>47:1.<\/a> \u2018One generation shall praise <\/i>[shabach] thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts<\/i>\u2019 Ps.145:4. Parents are the custodians of transferring God\u2019s mighty works from one generation to another. God says one of the most effective ways is to Shabach. God\u2019s works have to be so loud in your lives that it will be undeniable in the lives of your children. As parents we cannot fail God in this area. If you have failed Him in the past, I am praying that God will forgive you and empower you to make amends in Jesus Name. God expects that you transfer the faith and the grace that is upon your life to your children as Timothy\u2019s grandmother did for him. Paul was testifying that even though Timothy was his spiritual son, this work began with Lois [Timothy\u2019s grandmother]. As parents it is our duty, from God, to transfer His works from one generation to another by how we shabach [praise] God. Your children are watching how you praise God and how relentless you are in the pursuit of His presence. Your children observe how you are nothing before God when it comes to worship. They may not say anything now but they are being wired. A time will come when they will be their own men and women, when what you say to them is more or less an advice. Have you noticed parent’s words move from commands to advice? If at that time you have not transferred it, it will take God for them to get it at that point. \u2018Let them shout for joy<\/i> [shabach], and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant<\/i>.\u2019 Ps.35:27 [KJV]. <\/a>May the Lord help us all in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n
