My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/1\/JOB.15.13.KJV\"><span class=\"s1\">Job 15:<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>13<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> (KJV) \u201c<i>Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him\u2026<\/i>&#8221; It is only a child that does things like this. Even while the mother is spanking the child, even though the child is crying, he or she is still saying,<\/span><!--more--><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;I love you, mummy&#8221;. The child is saying, though you slay me, yet will I trust you. That was Job&#8217;s posture and that is where God wants us to be. Why? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/392\/HEB.6.18-19.CEV\">Heb. 6:<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>18-19<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> (CEV) \u201c<i>God cannot tell lies!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>And so His promises and vows are two things that can never be changed.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We have run to God for safety. Now His promises should greatly encourage us to take hold of the hope that is right in front of us. This hope is like a firm and steady anchor for our souls. In fact, hope reaches behind the curtain and into the most holy place.<\/i>\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">To demolish doubts, I must <i>remember God\u2019s track record<\/i>, I must <i>trust God\u2019s character and power<\/i>, and I must <b>Anticipate A Glorious Future<\/b>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/PSA.77.15.NLT\">Ps.77:<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>15<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> \u201c<i>By your strong arm, you <\/i><b><i>redeemed<\/i><\/b><i> your people\u2026<\/i>\u201d (emphasis added).To redeem means to buy back, God has bought us back by His strength. We are to anticipate a glorious future. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/392\/TIT.2.13.CEV\">Titus 2:<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>13<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> (CEV) \u201c<i>We are filled with hope, as we wait for the glorious return of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.<\/i>\u201d Even in this life where there is so much confusion, doubt, and questions, even though there is so much uncertainty in this life. The truth is that our destination is absolutely clear because our destination is in God. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/1CO.2.9-10.NLT\"><span class=\"s1\">1 Cor.2:<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>9<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> \u201c\u2026<i>No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.\u201d <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><i><sup>10<\/sup><\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i> But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit<\/i>\u2026\u201d What God is going to do in your life &#8211; no eyes have seen, no ears have heard, no heart has even imagined or conceived it. The question is, will you trust God, will you put your anchor in God? Biblical faith is not passive waiting. Biblical faith is not ignorant denial. Biblical faith is not wishful thinking.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Biblical faith is not blind optimism. Biblical faith is facing your doubts head-on and yet clinging to a God promised future anyway. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/HEB.11.13.NLT\"><span class=\"s1\">Heb.11:<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>13 &amp;16<\/sup><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> \u201c<i>All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/HEB.11.16.NLT\">they<\/a> were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them<\/i>.\u201d Anticipate that glorious future because God is your destination!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Prayer<\/b>: Father, I praise You because You are holy, I rejoice in Your salvation because You alone are my destination, in Jesus Name.
