So this <\/i><b><i>pleasure<\/i><\/b><i> and <\/i><b><i>joy<\/i><\/b><i> of mine is now <\/i><b><i>complete<\/i><\/b><i>.\u201d (AMP, emphasis added).<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The bridegroom\u2019s best-man in the Jewish culture is called the <i>shoshbin<\/i>. In those times, the stealing of brides was very rampant. Usually, after the bride has been prepared, there will be some bandits lurking, waiting for an opportunity to grab the bride.<!--more--> It was very rampant; so, the <i>shoshbin<\/i> has the duty of protecting the bride. Once the bride enters the bride chamber, preparing herself for her groom, the <i>shoshbin<\/i> stands at the door with a sword. The <i>shoshbin<\/i> can also have friends that help him but as the best-man, he is responsible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">And it is at midnight that the bridegroom arrives. When Jesus gives those parables about the bridegroom coming at midnight. I always used to wonder why the bridegroom comes at midnight. We see that it is a cultural thing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>When the bridegroom comes at midnight, the <i>shoshbin<\/i> unable to see who is coming because of the distance calls out to him. Since the best man knows his voice, he rejoices at his voice beckoning on him to come to his waiting bride. When the bridegroom enters and locks the door, the joy of the <i>shoshbin<\/i> is complete and he goes away rejoicing. \u201c\u2026<i>So this <\/i><b><i>pleasure<\/i><\/b><i> and <\/i><b><i>joy<\/i><\/b><i> of mine is now <\/i><b><i>complete<\/i><\/b><i>\u201d <\/i>(emphasis added).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Jesus is the Bridegroom and as believers, we are to be His <i>shoshbin<\/i> to the unbelievers. It becomes our ultimate pleasure and joy to deliver our loved ones who are close to us but far from God to Christ. If you are reading this today and you do not have a relationship with Jesus, it is my pleasure to be your <i>shoshbin<\/i> and to deliver Him, your bridegroom even right now. Lift your hands to Him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Please study the verses below; as you do this study, we trust the Lord to open your eyes and He will because He is waiting for you to do this study. Write down what ministers to you in the spaces provided.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/2016\/jhn.3.31\">John3:<b><sup>31<\/sup><\/b><\/a> <i>\u201cThe one who comes from above is <\/i><b><i>above all<\/i><\/b><i>; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is <\/i><b><i>above all<\/i><\/b><i>.<\/i> \u201c(NRSV, emphasis added). ________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/jhn.3.33\">John3:<b><sup>33<\/sup><\/b> <\/a>\u201c<i>Whoever has accepted his testimony has <\/i><b><i>certified<\/i><\/b><i> this, that God is true<\/i>.\u201d (emphasis added). ____________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/jhn.3.34-36\">John3:<b><sup>34-36<\/sup><\/b><\/a> \u201c<i>For he is sent by God. He speaks God\u2019s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit. The Father loves his Son and has put <\/i><b><i>everything<\/i><\/b><i> into his hands. And anyone who believes in God\u2019s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn\u2019t obey the Son <\/i><b><i>will never experience<\/i><\/b><i> eternal life but <\/i><b><i>remains<\/i><\/b><i> <\/i><b><i>under<\/i><\/b><i> God\u2019s angry judgment<\/i>.\u201d (emphasis added). __________________________________________<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Prayer<\/b>: Father, I thank You for revealing the secrets in Your Word to me, in Jesus Name.
