He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/116\/heb.11.7.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Heb.11:7a<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abraham was about to retire and God said to him \u2018pack your bags I am leading you to a land\u2019. \u2018Which land?\u2019 He asked. God says \u2018don\u2019t worry\u2019, I will show you when we get there\u2019. So Abraham began to pack his bags and his family members ask, \u2018AB where are you going?\u2019 And Abraham says \u2018I am going to a place, God is going to give me an inheritance, a land\u2019. \u2018Really, AB which land is that?\u2019 they ask and he says \u2018I don\u2019t know yet but I am going\u2019. They probably said amongst themselves \u2018it is confirmed, AB has lost it. We knew there was <!--more-->something wrong with him before but now we are sure\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">God said to Noah \u2018go and build an ark\u2019. Noah says \u2018alright Lord I will but what is it for?\u2019. God says \u2018there is going to be a flood\u2019. By that time there was no rain on earth, the Bible says that mist was keeping the grass green. Noah said \u2018flood, what is a flood Lord?\u2019 And God says \u2018a flood happens when it rains and the rate of downpour is greater then the rate of dissipation\u2019. Still puzzled but trying not to sound rude Noah asks \u2018what is rain Lord?\u2019. The truth is that Noah did not know what rain was. And God says \u2018rain is when water pours from heavens\u2019.\u00a0 \u2018Really, water from heaven?\u2019 Noah still puzzled but begins to build anyway. And the people ask Noah \u2018what are you doing?\u2019 He replies \u2018I am building an ark\u2019. They say \u2018who told you to build an ark?\u2019 Noah replies \u2018God told me to build an ark\u2019. By this time they are probably giving each other side glances confirming the earlier speculation that Noah has lost his mind. \u2018God told you to build an ark, why?\u2019 they ask, Noah says \u2018there is going to be heavy rain and a mighty flood\u2019. \u2018Rain, flood \u2013 Noah you are crazy!\u2019 \u2018<i>By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/116\/heb.11.7.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Heb.11:7b<\/a>. <\/i>God also counted Abraham\u2019s actions as righteousness. You do not have to understand it to obey it. Faith is obeying even when you don\u2019t understand it. <i><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Prayer: Father, help me live by faith just like Abraham did. Help me act in faith just like Noah did.
