He revealed quite a lot, just as the lowest of the low might expose himself<\/span><span class=\"s10\">\u201d (VOICE). Stop and picture this for a moment. You are coming from having an amazing time of worship and fellowship with God. You are charged up and taking that atmosphere to your home and then the first thing that greets you is sarcasm from the very people you are going to bless. How would you respond? David did not say, \u2018You this woman, you are going to see my red eye today!\u2019 I am sure that Michal\u2019s attitude was not strange to David because he was not shocked. David did not let her sarcasm stop him from bestowing good favour on his household.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"s6\">\n<div class=\"s31\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"s30 aligncenter\" src=\"x-apple-ql-id:\/\/20AC2859-749B-4B9C-9FDA-76B55B5CAA75\/x-apple-ql-magic\/772E74FA-40A3-4020-BC09-DB0C7BB57DB8.png\" \/><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"s10\">Your walk with God must affect your household. If you have a walk with God that is not affecting your family, something is wrong with that. If you have a walk with God that is not impacting your children positively, something is <\/span><span class=\"s10\">definitely wrong<\/span><span class=\"s10\"> with that. Unfortunately, a lot of Pastor\u2019s children do not want to hear anything about church or have anything to do with God. And it because their parents who are Pastors did not take the same attitude into their homes. Yet, we are also grateful for <\/span><span class=\"s10\">all of<\/span><span class=\"s10\"> the Pastor\u2019s children who are in church, actively engaging in true worship. David returned home after sacrificing to God and blessing God\u2019s people, to bless his household. God expects us, as true worshippers, to take it back home and be consistent. Bless your home, bless your sons and daughters. Be the priest; take God\u2019s Word to your household, take God&#8217;s blessings to your family. Even if they despise you, take it to them anyway. You have a duty to take God\u2019s Word and blessings to your household. Even if they do not respect the prophet, still take it to them because that is your calling. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span class=\"s10\">True worship happens <\/span><span class=\"s15\">When I Humble Myself Before God <\/span><span class=\"s15\">In<\/span><span class=\"s15\"> Celebration<\/span><span class=\"s10\">. <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/111\/2SA.6.20\">2 Sam.6:<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s11\">20<\/span> <span class=\"s7\">\u201cWhen David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, \u2018<\/span><span class=\"s18\">How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today<\/span><span class=\"s7\">, <\/span><span class=\"s20\">disrobing<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> in the sight of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!\u2019<\/span><span class=\"s10\"> (NIV, emphasis added). Kings have robes, royal garments. David did not rush home to change, he disrobed in front of everybody. It can even be offensive, obviously to his wife, because that is the natural response. However, sometimes you need to be spiritual and ignore what is supposed to be a natural response. David disrobed publicly and wore an ephod as in the inserted image. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s9\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s12\">Prayer<\/span><span class=\"s10\">: Father, I pray that my walk with You and my work for You will impact my entire camp positively for the Kingdom of God, in Jesus Name.
