Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/97\/2ti.3.16.msg\" target=\"_blank\">2 Tim.3:16 [MSG]<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We have to consistently rely on the Word to shape us up so that we can align with the tasks that God has for us. Some people want to know if it right for Christians who run restaurants to sell alcoholic drinks. Again for me this deals more with your relationship with the Father. What is your focus \u2013 the Kingdom or your pocket? \u2018<i>Don\u2019t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit<\/i>\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/116\/eph.5.18.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Eph.5:18<\/a>. While there <!--more-->might not be a section in scripture that says \u2018do not sell alcohol\u2019 but then again there are ethical things to wrestle with. My question to you is, are you accountable for the man who gets drunk at your bar and goes home to beat up his wife? I think you should reconsider that line of business and trust God to open a door that is both spiritually and financially profitable before you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Real age versus official age \u2013 a number of Christians are not sure if it is right or not to declare an official age above or below their real age for the purpose of getting or retaining job placements. I will say out right that it is not right! I play soccer and I meet young men who are very talented and for most of them their dream is to be on the dream team. Along the line some of these young men have openings and bring their passports for us to pray together and when I look at the age on the passport it is far from true. No matter how harsh it might sound, the truth is what is wrong is wrong. God will not bless a faulty foundation because it will kill you [<a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/116\/luk.6.47-49.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Luke 6:47-49<\/a>].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Bible, there are given requirements for leadership so what are the given requirements that make a man eligible for marriage? Firstly, I would say you are now a man and no longer a boy. \u2018<i>This explains why a <b>man<\/b> leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife<\/i>\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.us\/116\/mrk.10.7.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Mark 10:7<\/a>. Secondly, you are able to provide financial backing, spiritual leadership, emotional direction for your family. Women are very emotional \u2013can you calm an angry woman down? If you can\u2019t do these things then you are not ready for marriage. With marriage, it\u2019s not just about age.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Prayer<\/b>: Father, help me to be spiritually prepared for the opportunities that You are bringing my way, in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another\u2014showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God\u2019s way.
