There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.\u201d (TPT).<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">What Did Jesus \u201cFinish\u201d On The Cross? We can write a whole book on this. But beginning today we will look at four huge things that Jesus did on the cross, things He finished.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The first thing is <span class=\"s1\">Jesus Paid The Penalty and Cancelled The Debt<\/span>.<!--more-->Jesus paid my penalty and cancelled my debt. \u201c<i>The law of Moses <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>could not save us<\/i><\/span><i>, because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent His own Son in a human body like ours&#8230; and gave His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. God did this so that the <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>requirement of the law would<\/i><\/span><i> be fully accomplished <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><b><i>FOR<\/i><\/b><\/span><i> us..<\/i>.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/rom.8.3-4\">Romans 8:3-4<\/a> paraphrased). This is huge! Jesus paid your penalty and cancel your debt. Laws cannot save us; laws can only expose our need for grace. \u201c<i>God <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>wiped out the charges<\/i><\/span><i> and <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>canceled the record<\/i><\/span><i> of all the times we\u2019ve disobeyed God\u2019s commandments. Jesus <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>took our guilt<\/i><\/span><i> on his own body <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>and nailed it to the cross<\/i>.<\/span>\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/392\/col.2.14\">Colossians 2:14<\/a> paraphrased).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The picture this scripture paints is one of God using spiritual bleach to remove every stain. He cancelled every record with a heavenly eraser. Jesus died before we were born. So, if He cancelled the records of <span class=\"s1\">ALL<\/span> the times we disobeyed God&#8217;s commandment, it means all our sins even before we were born, He knew we were going to do them. However, once you accept Christ, your past, your present, and your future sin forgiven. That is what Jesus did, He wiped it out completely. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/114\/rom.8.1\">Romans 8:<sup>1<\/sup><\/a> \u201c<i>There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus\u2026\u201d<\/i> (NKJV). You have no business staying in condemnation, none! The price Jesus paid is too big for you to toy with. Who is accusing you? They are accusing Christ, and He will answer them. What I am saying is Jesus did not just pay for your past sins. He paid for the ones you are yet to commit. Pastor, did you just say that, yes, Jesus did.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">I have had these kinds of conversations with my Pastor friends, church leaders. And some of them are of the opinion that, \u2018do not tell people these things. We know it is true, but we cannot afford to tell people these things.\u2019 They are scholars, they can see that that is what Jesus has done. One of them was saying, \u2018We cannot tell people these things. And it is because we are afraid that when we tell people these things, they will start doing things they should not do.\u2019 But I said, \u2018No, on the contrary, we set people free from doing things they should not.\u2019 Jesus took care of your sin past, present, and future it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Prayer<\/b> (song): Thank You Jesus for the grace that You have given us.
