Eros love from which the word erotic derives it\u2019s origin is love between a husband and his wife. It is sexual love designed by God for the institution of marriage. The world has tried to pollute and corrupt this kind of love by promoting it as cheap emotions responded to only on instinct. The truth is that God designed it as a fulfilling kind of intimacy reserved solely for married couples. If you are currently sleeping with someone who is not your husband or someone who is another person\u2019s husband, what you are doing is not the eros kind of loving. It is either fornicating or committing adultery and engaging in sexual acts outside of marriage does not please God. \u2018Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body\u2019 <\/i>1Cor.6:18<\/a>. In other words, engaging in eros type of love outside the institution of marriage is a sin against your own body. God is clear about the value He places on our bodies. \u2018Don\u2019t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,\u00a0<\/b>for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body\u2019 <\/i>1 Cor.6:19-20<\/a>. <\/i>What God is saying to us today is that we must honor Him with our bodies. Engaging in sexual love outside marriage is not only a sin against your body but it translates to dishonoring God. \u2018God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God\u2019s temple is holy, and you are that temple\u2019<\/i> 1 Cor.3:17<\/a>. It is possible that you have never heard it like this before. Or you thought it was acceptable because this is what the world preaches. As a child of God what defines you are the Words of your Father and not the ways of the world. Stop sinning, repent, and trust God to make you whole. This season God wants us to experience the healing and complete love of Christ Jesus. \u2018Honor marriage, and <\/i>guard the sacredness of sexual intimacy between wife and husband. God draws a firm line against casual and illicit sex<\/i>\u2019 Heb.13:4 [MSG]<\/a>. God wants to restore the honor to you as a person and to your marriage if you will cry out to Him today.<\/i><\/p>\n
