Who will go for us?\u2019 So I said, \u2018<\/span><\/i><b><i>Here I am.<\/i><\/b><b><i> Send me<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!\u2019\u201d (NCV, emphasis added).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When people hear God say, \u201cWho shall we send? Who will go for us?\u201d They enter into different modes. We looked at the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">evaluation mode<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">study mode<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> yesterday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another mode that people get into is the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">consultant mode<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. They say, \u201cLord, let us do a decision matrix and a cost-benefit analysis. If You send the lower-ranking angels, the cost to You would be XYZ. If you send the higher-ranking angels, the cost to You would be ABC.\u201d But they never see themselves as being sent. Guess what? It is you God is talking to!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes, when people respond to the call, they want to dictate to God where He should send them. Lord, send me to Afghanistan, Tokyo, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, or America. But most times, like in the case of Isaiah, God started by sending Isaiah to Israel. God said to him, \u201cGo to the King of Syria. Go to the King of Israel.\u201d Interestingly, we are saying, \u201cGod, Here I am. I am available. Send me to the nations but Lord, I want to go to Costa Rica, Dallas, or America.\u201d God is saying, \u201cWhat about that your next-door neighbour? I am sending you to them. Reach out to them and invite them to church. Tell them about Jesus Christ.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seventh thing that happens when you stand and say, \u201cGod, Here I am. I am available\u201d is <\/span><b>You<\/b> <b>Serve the <\/b><b>Person<\/b><b> You Never Thought You Could Serve<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. And that was the story of Ananias in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/105\/ACT.9.NCV\">Acts 9<\/a>. Paul had been causing trouble for Christians, and God had knocked him down. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/105\/act.9.10-11\">Acts 9:<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10-11<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was a follower of Jesus in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord spoke to Ananias in a vision, \u2018Ananias!\u2019\u00a0 Ananias answered, \u2018<\/span><\/i><b><i>Here I am<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Lord.\u2019\u00a0 The Lord said to him, \u2018Get up and go to Straight Street. Find the house of Judas and ask for a man named Saul from the city of Tarsus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u2019\u201d (NCV, emphasis added).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ananias said, \u201cLord, here I am, but I am afraid. This Saul can kill me, in fact, he has permission to kill Christians. I would rather not have anything to do with him.\u201d Yet sometimes when we say, \u201cHere I am\u201d, God sends us to serve the people we never thought we could serve. Are there people you need to serve with forgiveness? People that you would rather not forgive, or have anything to do with? God is saying to you serve them with forgiveness. There are some people that you would rather not pray for or love. God says, serve them and love them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Prayer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Father, here I am, not my will but Yours be done in my life and through my life, in Jesus Name.
