The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You cannot afford to have the memory of a goldfish in your walk with God. God has a track record of faithfulness and that is what David was saying. \u201cHe is the same God who through me\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">took down the lion and the bear. This same God will take down this Goliath too.\u201d David was not reminding God of who He is, He was reminding himself of who God is. When you are faced with incredible odds stacked against you, you have to remind yourself about who God is. This God is on your side. You are not starting from ground zero, perplexed and wondering. You are saying the God of my fathers, the God of my grandmother, the God of my mother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/exo.3.6\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exodus 3:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am the God of your father\u2014the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob\u2026<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. God is a generational God, He is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Isaac did not start from ground zero. Jacob (Israel) did not start from ground zero. They could call on the God of their spiritual heritage. \u201cAre you not?\u201d Remind yourself who God is, and what He has done for you. Chronicle the things God has done for you, for your fathers. Have your own Book of Chronicles where you document what happened, and what God did. Before you are done reading through and reminding yourself, you are ready.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second question Jehoshaphat asked is, \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did You not<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?\u201d Remind yourself what God has done. This is similar to \u201cAre you not\u201d, but it focuses on what God has done. \u201cAre you not\u201d focuses on who God is.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/111\/2CH.20.7\"> 2 Chronicles 20:<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our God, <\/span><\/i><b><i>did You not<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?\u201d (NIV, emphasis added). When you combine, \u201cAre You not\u201d and \u201cDid You not?\u201d, you have elevated your consciousness and you are in that place where you can believe God for the impossible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And the third question Jehoshaphat asked is, \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will You not<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?\u201d Jehoshaphat said to God, \u201cDo it again!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/111\/2ch.20.12\">2 Chronicles 20:<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our God, <\/span><\/i><b><i>will You not<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> judge them?<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d (NIV, emphasis added). Will You not do it again? You did it when you parted the Red Sea. You did it when the inhabitants of Canaan were driven out for Your people. Will You not do it again? And God will do it again! You healed in the past, will You not do it again? When you engage God like Jehoshaphat did, you are going to turn the tide in your favour. And that is the way to pray for a miracle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Prayer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Father, You are the God of my father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob so I am confident that You have turned the tide in my favour for Your Name sake, in Jesus Mighty Name.
