{"id":28470,"date":"2025-03-16T00:00:04","date_gmt":"2025-03-15T23:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/?p=28470"},"modified":"2025-03-12T09:23:51","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T08:23:51","slug":"praise-the-lord","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/2025\/03\/16\/praise-the-lord\/","title":{"rendered":"Praise The Lord!"},"content":{"rendered":"<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-28470-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Mar-16.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Mar-16.mp3\">http:\/\/gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Mar-16.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/1\/PSA.34.1-3\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psalm 34:<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1-3<\/span><\/i><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cI will bless the\u00a0Lord\u00a0at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. <\/span><\/i><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My soul shall make her boast in the\u00a0Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. <\/span><\/i><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O magnify the\u00a0Lord\u00a0with me, and let us exalt his name together.\u201d (KJV)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For you to turn the tide in your favour, the seventh thing you do is <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thank God In Advance<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/111\/2ch.20.21\">2 Chronicles 20:<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">21<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026Jehoshaphat appointed men to <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sing to the Lord<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to<\/span><\/i><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> praise\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">him<\/span> <\/em><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for the splendor of his holiness as they went out <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the head of the army<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, saying: \u201cGive thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NIV, emphasis added). What is going on here? They were going for battle and Jehoshaphat said wait, wait, wait! The elite soldiers, the snipers, the infantry, the tanks are not going to go ahead. Instead, we are going to send the choir ahead. That is what Jehoshaphat did. He appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise Him because God said, \u201cYou will not have to fight in this battle.\u201d Very smart King.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God did not tell Jehoshaphat what to do. God did not tell him to put singers ahead of the fighting men. He just figured out that they are better off praising God all the way into battle. And so, he placed the singers out ahead of the army. Jehoshaphat put the choir in front, then the soldiers behind saying we are going to thank God in advance for the victory. Are you going to thank God? Yes, you should pray but spend focused time thanking God in advance for the turning point that will happen in your favour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have watched any of those medieval war movies, then you can picture this. Instead of the infantry marching ahead in battle formation with the horsemen behind. You have the musicians and the choir singing. That is crazy. It just does not make sense. But that was what was going on here. The question to you is, when are you going to start thanking God for that situation? When are you going to start thanking God? When? What is it going to be?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We see three clear results from what Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah and Jerusalem did. The first thing that happened was that they had a <\/span><b>Resounding Victory<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you will have a resounding victory. As you raise your voice and thank God in advance, you will have a resounding victory in the Mighty Name of Jesus. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/111\/2ch.20.22\">2 Chronicles 20:<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">22<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As they began to sing and praise, <\/span><\/i><b><i>the Lord<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u201d (NIV, emphasis added).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Prayer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (song): For the Lord is good, for the Lord is good. (x2) For the Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever (and ever). For the Lord is good and His love endureth forever.
