The grass is not greener on the other side; the grass is greener where it is watered. So water your own grass and it would be green. A lady I really used to respect sat before me with her husband and I was really put off by the way she was talking to her husband. In my heart I wondered why she would ever talk to her husband like that. As if that was not bad enough, right there in the presence of her husband she said, \u2018if only my husband can just be half of you\u2019. Her husband was right there, just \u00a0to show you how much disregard she had for the man. So I said to her \u2018If my wife was half of you I would be finished\u2019. The reason why I am who I am today is because someone has been encouraging me, nurturing me, and speaking good words into my life. Now you see that entire goodness and you desire it. Go and nurture your own husband. Listen; there is nobody that has everything together. The closer you get to people, the more you discover about them. And guess what, not everything will please you. I know of a man who almost backslid because he saw his Pastor eating like a barbarian. He was brought up in a prim and proper environment and that was who he had projected his Pastor to be. And to see the man like that just threw him off balance. What the Pastor did was not a sin but he almost backslid. He even wrote a book about it and how God dealt with him. Jesus is the only person that the closer you get the more beautiful He becomes. There was another woman who also tried to compare her husband with me. And I said to her, if I were your husband I probably would have sinned against God by now. But God knows I don\u2019t have that kind of patience. And that is why He gave you that husband that has been taking all this nonsense that you are giving him. God wants us to accept the people that we are in relationships with. Accept your husband\/wife. If there is a certain type of food he likes to eat in bed, accept him like that until he grows. When you start lusting after someone else\u2019s husband, you are putting yourself in trouble.<\/p>\n
