I won&#8217;t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.\u201d (MSG)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Holy Spirit has come to teach you how to know God, but you have to spend time with Him. Imagine this, exams are drawing close and student B spends all her time reading romantic novels. And then when it is time for the exam,<!--more--> she is struggling to solve calculus or chemistry because what is inside her brain is boy meets girl.\u00a0 Then she sees \u201c<em>15x + 3y<\/em>\u201d. And she says, why are we always looking for this <em>x<\/em>? Why is <em>x<\/em> always running away? Junk consumption! You need to spend your time with The Holy Spirit. And I am not saying that you must necessarily lock yourself up somewhere. I am just saying conscious daily communication. Have conscious daily perpetual engagements with The Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Someone says to me, \u201cPastor, I want to know who to marry. I want The Holy Spirit to tell me who to marry.\u201d So, I say, \u201cOkay great. How does God speak to you normally, on a day to day?\u201d And he says, \u201cNo, God does not speak to me normally.\u201d I say, \u201cBut you want Him to tell you who to marry?\u201d It does not work like that. You have to hear God normally (day to day), and when it is time to get married it will be easy. You can discern the person. Someone said, \u201cPastor lay your hands on me, I want to be able to say, \u201cThere is someone here who has swallowed a reptile\u2026\u201d But this same person is not interested when God says, \u201cTake your laptop from the house.\u201d You say, \u201cI do not need it\u201d, so you ignore Him.<\/p>\n<p>God says, \u201cYou need to forgive that lady\u201d and you say, \u201cNever! I am carrying this thing to the grave.\u201d God says, \u201cGive that man your car\u201d, and you say, \u201cMy car? Get thee behind me satan!\u201d God is telling you things, but you do not want to do them, you are not interested. All you are interested in is saying, \u201cI am the Lord! I am the Lord!\u201d No, it does not work like that. Let me tell you the story of \u201cI am the Lord!\u201d There was this brother who always liked to prophesy.<\/p>\n<p>While fellowship is going on, and everybody is worshipping. He says, \u201cShhh, I am the Lord, I am the Lord\u2026\u201d and he will prophesy. So, on this day, he said, \u201cShhh, I am the Lord, I am the Lord. I said in my book in Matthew 29:3\u2026\u201d. People were tapping him, but he continued, \u201cI am the Lord, I am speaking.\u201d Then somebody whispered, \u201cThere is no Matthew 29, Sir.\u201d Then he said, \u201cI am the Lord, I am sorry.\u201d God does not make those kinds of errors. He is God! If God says check Matthew 29, every Bible in the world would immediately have Matthew 29.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, help me have consistent fellowship with The Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name.
