Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns\u2026 It\u2019s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life.\u201d (MSG)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To enjoy God&#8217;s promise of peace, first you need to <strong>Have <u>Peace<\/u> With <u>God<\/u><\/strong>. Secondly, you need to <strong>Get <u>Rest<\/u> For <u>Your Body<\/u><\/strong>. <!--more-->Thirdly, you need to <strong>Make <u>Peace<\/u> With <u>People<\/u><\/strong>. Some people are incorrigible, I understand that and there is a provision for such people. But it cannot be a rule of thumb that you are cutting off this person and that person. You cannot be known as Brother or Sister \u201ccut-off\u201d or \u201ccancel\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/1588\/rom.12.18\">Romans 12:<sup>18<\/sup> <\/a>\u201c<em>If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.<\/em>\u201d (AMP). Some things do not depend on you. For instance, somebody&#8217;s destiny is South and yours is North. The Bible says two cannot walk together except they are agreed on the course of direction (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/AMO.3.3\">Amos 3:3<\/a>). There is no need to fight. Everybody should just go their separate ways. However, there are people going north with you, people that you are not at peace with, and that is a problem. The key thing is, you have to make peace with people.<\/p>\n<p>To enjoy God&#8217;s promise of peace, the fourth thing you need to do is <strong>Tell <u>God<\/u> What <u>You Need<\/u><\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/59\/PHP.4.6.ESV\">Philippians 4:<sup>6-7<\/sup><\/a> \u201c<em>do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let <strong><u>your requests<\/u><\/strong> be made known to God. And <strong>the peace of God<\/strong>, which surpasses all understanding, <u>will guard<\/u> your <u>hearts<\/u> and your <u>minds<\/u> in Christ Jesus<\/em>.\u201d (ESV, emphasis added). God wants you to come with requests. What is this bothering you? Take it to God. The peace of God surpasses all understanding because there can be confusion outside, yet you have peace inside. And that does not make sense to the natural man.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/php.4.6-7\">Philippians 4:6-7<\/a>, we see what is called the <em>principle of anything<\/em> and the <em>principle of everything<\/em>. What is the principle of anything? The principle of anything is <em>do not worry about anything<\/em>. What is the principle of everything? The principle of everything is <em>pray about everything<\/em>. The principle of anything and everything is <em>do not worry about anything but pray about everything<\/em>. But instead, what do we do? We worry about everything, and we do not pray about anything. We turn the principle upside down. When you worry about everything, you cannot pray about anything. And it is because praying and worrying cannot coexist. We worry about everything. Why are you worrying? Why? Pass it on to God!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, I need Your wisdom to navigate life, relationships, and my walk with Jesus. Give me the capacity to do Your will above all else, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Philippians 4:6-7 \u201c\u2026Instead of worrying, pray.
