The second thing that happens when you get a fresh start is CONFIDENCE. <!--more-->New confidence about your future floods your life. The problem sometimes is that we base our confidence on the wrong things. Sometimes, we base our confidence on our achievements. If you base your confidence on achievements, it will crumble. Sometimes, we base our confidence on acquisitions. If you base your confidence on acquisitions it will crumble.<\/p>\n<p>Things that are acquired can be lost. A lot of people are in constant turmoil and fear of losing what they have acquired. They have the acquisitions but because of the fear of losing it, they don&#8217;t have confidence. Some have lost the acquisitions, so their confidence is eroded because it was based on the acquisitions. Sometimes, we erroneously base our confidence on our appearance. You have confidence because you are <em>slaying<\/em> today. What happens to the confidence if you are not <em>slaying<\/em> tomorrow? Some guy said that he started losing his confidence when he started getting bald. The question is why should your confidence be on the fact that you are not bald, and you have nice hair? Praise God for nice hair, but you can lose your hair. Your confidence has to run deeper than your appearance.<\/p>\n<p>What happens when you are no longer the young, beautiful, shapely lady that you were at twenty-one? Guess what? You will not be twenty-one forever. You are going to be thirty-one soon, then forty-one, and before you know it you will be fifty-one. Then what happens to your confidence? What happens to your confidence if it is based on achievements, acquisitions, or appearances? It is going to fade. There is too much pressure from the world, such confidence will not hold up. Someone said, \u201cI am not fat, Pastor, I am nutritionally enhanced.\u201d When we are trying so hard to justify what is not, there is a problem.<\/p>\n<p>The only solution is to let God give you confidence and be your confidence. The God kind of confidence is the kind that will never fade. You can build confidence in God in several ways. First, you can build confidence in God by knowing that <em>God Offers To Forgive Everything You Have Ever Done Wrong<\/em>. It gives you confidence when you know that your past is forgiven. To know that everything you have done wrong is forgiven is a major confidence booster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, You are my light and my clarity. You are my confidence and my anchor. So, I put all my trust in You, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
