\u2018<\/i><\/b>Jesus replied, \u201cBelieve me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem\u2019 John 4:21<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n

While every human being has a loving heart towards some people, almost every human being has a list of people that they cannot stand. It could be the person that cost you your job, or the person that took your spouse, it could be the person that stole your money, or someone who was nasty to you, or the person that cost you your business. Sometimes it is that class of the \u2018un-liked\u2019 that God may be leading you to reach out to for His sake. As a believer, how are you going handle that? In fact, for some people it goes beyond just a list of individuals to a list of groups of people that they refuse to relate with. They have simply been black listed. For some, it is a tribal related black list. They would even go as far as forbidding their children to marry from the black listed tribe(s). What if that is where their husband\/wife is? It is so limiting. You are limiting your life. There are beautiful people everywhere regardless of tribe, tongue, state of origin, or nationality. There was a wedding where let\u2019s say an Igbo man was getting married to a Yoruba woman and it was war between the families. Finally the day came and the Pastor\u2019s opening statement was \u201can Igbo Christian should not marry a Yoruba Christian\u201d. It was evident that the Pastor was speaking the thoughts of Igbo elders because of their reaction. Then the Pastor went on to say, \u201cA Yoruba Christian should never marry an Igbo Christian\u201d. And murmuring swept through the entire church. And the Pastor broke the ice by saying \u201cif you are a Yoruba or Igbo Christian then you are not a Christian at all\u201d. A Christian should marry a Christian whether you are Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa. When you put your state of origin before Christianity there is a problem. One Blood, One Saviour, One Family, One umbrella name \u2013 One Nigeria. We have to be careful particularly as Christians not to allow the bitterness of the generation of our parents to form bitterness in our own hearts. When I got saved I had to purge such emotions because it is nonsense. The question is – are you washed in the Blood?<\/p>\n
