Deuteronomy 31:6<\/sup><\/a> \u201cBe strong. Take courage. Don\u2019t be intimidated. Don\u2019t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He\u2019s right there with you. He won\u2019t let you down; he won\u2019t leave you.\u201d (MSG)<\/em><\/p>\n

The sixth bait that you should not bite is the I Am Alone<\/u><\/strong> Bait<\/u>. It is a lie, don’t bite that bait because you are NEVER alone. If a child of God, you are never alone. I realized this years ago; I am never alone, with me I have God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit encapsulating the Trinity. With me every time, I have angels, and they are not imaginary friends. They are real. Guess what? I have people around me, too. You are not alone. Never believe it. Don\u2019t bite the bait that you are going to grow old alone and die alone. It is a lie. You are not alone. You are a child of God. You are covered by community, and so shall it be in the Mighty Name of Jesus. However, what we get twisted sometimes is the concept of loneliness and aloneness. It is possible to be lonely even when you are not alone.<\/p>\n

There are married people who sleep on the same bed, but they are lonely. Are they alone? No! But are they lonely? Yes! You can be in a crowd and be lonely. Are they alone? No! But are they lonely? Yes! So being alone is not the same thing as being lonely. Being lonely speaks to things that are more fundamental than physical presence. It speaks to a void in our hearts. A classic example is Adam. Adam was not lonely even though Adam was alone. Adam was busy doing God’s work and going about his assignment. He didn’t even realize that something was missing in his life. God had to put him to sleep because God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone<\/em>“. Adam was alone, but Adam was not lonely.<\/p>\n

If we address the concept and understand how they are different and how they are linked, we will realize, firstly, that we are never alone. And secondly, because of the community, relationships, and people God has put in our lives, we shouldn’t be lonely. When we engage first and foremost with the Lord, and then we engage with our community and relationships, loneliness becomes a thing of the past. Deuteronomy 31:6<\/sup> <\/a>\u201cSo be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the\u00a0Lord\u00a0your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you<\/em>.\u201d This is God\u2019s Word to someone reading this today.<\/p>\n

Imagine you are walking, and the Lord your God is walking ahead of you. How can you be lonely? At work, God is walking ahead of you. How can you be lonely? Your very big God is always by your side. Only believe.<\/p>\n
