From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We will kick off today\u2019s devotional with a prayer. Father, we come in the Name of Jesus, and we ask that You breathe upon us. Open our eyes to see as we ought to see. <!--more-->The entrance of Your Word brings light and gives understanding to the simple. Lord, we pray that there will be an entrance of Your Word into our minds and hearts in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Now, I want you to declare aloud, <strong>It&#8217;s A New Day<\/strong>. Yes, it is a new day! However, like with many things with God, we err most of the time because we do not understand. The gap we see in these times and in our generation is not a knowledge gap. In fact, they say information is doubling at an alarming rate.<\/p>\n<p>It used to take a hundred years for information to double, then it took fifty years, then ten years, and then it took a year for information to double. Amazing, right? But then, when we got into the millennium, it took a month for information to double. Guess what? Right now, in less than a day, information is doubling, and we are bombarded with content everywhere we go. When we open our phones, turn on our televisions, open our laptops, and look at billboards, we are being bombarded with knowledge and information. So, the challenge of our generation is not an information gap. We know more than almost any generation that lived before us.<\/p>\n<p>So, we are not lacking in knowledge; even our children know far more than we do. You think you know more than them? They know a lot more than you think they know. The challenge we have, the gap of our generation, is not a knowledge gap. It is an understanding gap. Most people cannot connect the information that is before them. Jesus would say, even in His time, \u201c\u2026<em>you don&#8217;t understand the signs of the times.<\/em>\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/MAT.16.3.NLT\">Matthew 16:3<\/a>). It is like reading the writing on the wall, but not understanding what it means. If you look at world events and the things that are happening, beginning from the year 2020.<\/p>\n<p>While praying and seeking the Lord for the Word for 2020, the Lord said, &#8220;This is the Word for 2020\u201d. However, don&#8217;t look at the year, look at the decade. It is going to be a decade of destiny. And boom, COVID-19 hit and attacked the health of nations. Guess what? The wealth of nations is being attacked now; a lot of things are happening. And pressing into God, He was saying that it is the beginning of reordering. The question is, how do you position yourself if you do not understand? Understanding is key. I pray that the God of Heaven will give us understanding in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>:\u00a0 Father, may it please You to fill me with Your Spirit of wisdom and understanding and make me of quick understanding of times and seasons, in the Name of Jesus.
