Then the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow, and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat.\u201d (ERV).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What is going on here? If the land is good, tilled, and you have ploughed yourself in righteousness, when it rains on the land, what sprouts is dependent on what is in the land. If what is in the land is weeds, what will sprout?<!--more--> Weeds. The land may appear bare, or perhaps you have cut the weeds down. However, when it rains, it is what is in the land that will sprout. But when a farmer cultivates that same land and plants seed in it in preparation for the rain. When it rains, even though it is the same land, it is the seeds planted in the land that will sprout. Rain doesn&#8217;t discriminate. The land is an incubator.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s anchor scripture tells us that when God gives a harvest, there are two parts to it. There is the seed part and there is the bread part to everything you can call a harvest. I lived for a bit in the Northern part of Nigeria. And one of the things that fascinated me about Northerners (at least the ones I lived with, and they were farmers) was that when they bring in their harvest, they sit down with it and meticulously do a separation. I later discovered that they were separating their seed from what they would grind to make all sorts of food from. And I noticed that they selected the best of the seeds to plant for the next season. What typically happens with a lot of people is that when God gives a harvest, they eat the bread and the seed.<\/p>\n<p>Then in the next cycle, they want a miracle; they are running from pillar to post looking for manna. That is why people just keep going from breakthrough to lack. From one prayer meeting to another, they pray and fast and then mercy happens; they get a miracle. Then what happens? As soon as the harvest comes, they eat the bread and the seed portions, and the cycle continues. God will give you understanding in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There are certain principles that if you have them, you must make sure that nobody talks you out of them. It is your responsibility. I remember what a man of God I respect told me about Firstfruits.<\/p>\n<p>I said to him, \u201cSir, have you ever paid firstfruit in your life?\u201d He said, \u201cNo.\u201d I said, \u201cI pay firstfruit, and I know what is happening in my finances.\u201d It is like I am eating an orange, you have not tasted the orange, yet you are telling me that the orange is sour. No, I should be the one telling you what the orange tastes like. You have never covenanted with God with your finances, and you have never had a walk with God. Listen, everyone who walks with God knows that a part of everything you receive belongs to God. Check everyone who walked with God in the scriptures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, I receive the wisdom to separate my seed from my bread, in Jesus Name.
