\u201cThen Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land\u201d Ex.14:21<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Back in the day, while I\u2019m praying for someone that is sick, I try to figure out how<\/em> the person will get healed. So I am praying but in my head I am thinking, \u2018as I lay my hands on this person, maybe the anointing from heaven will land on my head, and then flow through my hand into the person\u2019. But God delivered me from that long ago. People discover now that when I pray for someone to be healed it\u2019s not a very long prayer. The Bible says \u2018they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover<\/em>\u2019 Mark 16:18 [KJV]<\/a>. What happens in between, did He tell us? So I lay my hands, pray, and I go. And some people get upset because they feel the simple prayer does not match their problem. Some say, \u201cYou should have prayed longer\u201d. My job is to pray and I will do that. God\u2019s job is to heal. God taught me this in a very tough way. While I was serving in the north, there was this church that was practically empty and it was like a wilderness place. I will go there and I will fall on my face before God praying for hours for power. Then one day an opportunity came, somebody was dying and they came to call me. \u201cYou are always talking about Jesus, somebody is dying, come and heal him\u201d. So I entered my room and said \u201cFather, today is the day that Your Name will be glorified\u201d. I got to the place, the man was practically dead, and they were almost mourning him. I remembered the story of Jesus [Matt.9:23-26<\/a>] so I sent them all out and shut the door. I prayed, I wept, I prayed and prayed and the man died. It appeared as though the more I prayed the faster he died. I almost backslid; I said to God \u201cYou set me up to humiliate me, this thing does not work. You knew the man was going to die. I don\u2019t want this kind of anointing that sends people to death quickly\u201d. The things I said to God, God is very patient. If it were some of us, even if were me, I would have slapped me. It was a very dark period for me. God taught me, \u201cIt is not about you. When has the result become your responsibility? Your job is to pray, My job is to answer. Can you see the big picture? Do you see now why he had to go?\u201d Like a child I said, \u201cI don\u2019t know but You set me up\u201d. And God helped me through that dark period.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Prayer<\/strong>: Father, help me to stop trying to figure out with my head the things I should trust You for, in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n
