You need to know your Father. Note that even though the shepherd is there physically, it is not his physical appearance that the sheep recognize but rather his voice. And it is that voice that they follow. The sheep were able to move forward because they knew the voice of the shepherd. You need to know to know God to receive direction and move at the right time. Knowing the voice of our Father can only come with intimacy and fellowship.

May father liked to read the daily newspaper and I knew exactly which ones to buy for him each morning. Yet I could get to the vendor and the vendor would ask me if my father told me the newspaper to buy? The truth is that he did not specify. So how would I know the newspaper to buy right? I would know because I know. He is my father and I hang out with him. Some times people want to do stuff and I say to them “God is not in this thing”. And of course the next question is “how do you know, you haven’t even prayed”. I don’t need to pray sometimes. God wants you to know Him. When you know Him, direction becomes easier and direction is key. Determination is good but direction is key. Determination isn’t always the right solution especially if you are headed in the wrong direction. Imagine this, you should be heading to point A but you get on the road to point B. You are so determined to get to point A but you continue moving in the direction of point B. And you are praying will you get to point A? Even though you are very determined and you are praying about it, you are still heading in the wrong direction. When the light changes to green the most important thing is direction. So sit with God and get the right direction.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, in this season my ears will hear Your voice clearly giving me specific direction
on which way I should go, whether to the right or to the left [Isa.30:21], in Jesus Name.

‘After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice’ John 10:4. “I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! But the one who […]

[37,70,10

post-3242","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-guidance","category-intimacy","category-relationship
["GET
