The second thing we need to know is that sin in the parents becomes iniquity in the children<\/em>. Parenting is such a powerful thing. If parents choose to disobey God, it becomes iniquity in the children. The root word for iniquity is crookedness. In other words, crookedness becomes wired into the children. So what the parents choose to do in disobeying God, the children do it by default. So if the parent chooses to lie, the child becomes a liar. Can you see the difference? Huge! David says \u2018Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,\u2028And in sin my mother conceived me<\/em>\u2019 Ps.51:5<\/a>. In other words my mother chose to sin. And iniquity was wired into me, Lord this is my plight. Have you noticed that in some families they seem to have an anointing for promiscuity? The grandfather chose to sin, so his daughter becomes the girl about town, and then his granddaughter becomes the country girl. Again with some people they will never commit adultery but they are chronic lairs. Even when you can see the sun they will tell you it is the moon with so much conviction that even you will be confused. What was a choice for the parents has become software wired into their children. Thankfully, not only the bad things get wired into children, the good things you do are also wired into your children. The Bible says that Levi paid tithes when he was in Abraham\u2019s loins [Heb.7:9<\/a>]. Your choice to tithe today means your children and your children\u2019s children yet unborn are wired for God\u2019s prosperity. That\u2019s how it is. That\u2019s why you find out that some people are just walking into harvest upon harvest. It is because their parents served God and they are enjoying the benefits. It\u2019s as if they don\u2019t have any battle in their lives; they are probably third generation Christians. For others, it seems like they are moving from one battle into another. Don\u2019t be alarmed; it is because you\u2019re the first generation Christian in your lineage. While you are the one that is breaking all the forces, breaking all the fallow ground, doing all the warfare. For them their parents and grandparents have stored up a lot of prayers for them so they cannot understand why you consistently seek God in fasting and praying. Sadly, if they step out of line then they are setting their own children up for trouble. Maintain your focus and honour God.<\/p>\n

Prayer<\/strong>: Father, please teach me to store up heavenly treasure for my children and my children\u2019s children, in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n
