\u2018Against you, and you alone, have I sinned;<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>I have done what is evil in your sight.\u2028You will be proved right in what you say,\u2028and your judgment against me is just\u2019 Ps.51:4<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can\u2019t take credit for this; it is a gift from God\u2019 <\/em>Eph.2:8 [KJV]<\/a>. Faith is an action word; faith is not passive believing. Repentance is faith that gives you access to the grace that saves you. Without repentance, you cannot access the grace that can save, even though Jesus has paid for it. If I could survive six years without fornicating, you can do it too. God that has saved you \u2018is<\/em> able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault\u2019 <\/em>Jude 1:24<\/a>. My grandmother taught us early that what you will not eat, don\u2019t smell it because there\u2019s a short distance between the nose and the mouth. When you are smelling it, it can quickly enter your mouth. Why am I devoting time to this? It is to show you that when repentance is in place, the grace of God kicks in. And that grace will sustain you. That grace is more than enough to sustain you. The reason a lot of people keep going back to sin is because they never really repented. Today, I challenge you to bring the details of your rebellion before God, confess them one after the other, and then cry out to God for salvation. And God will flood your life with the same grace that He gave me.<\/p>\n

True repentance is also the key to having a soft heart. When your heart is soft and broken, it is soft and broken. If you find people that find it hard to forgive, it is because they\u2019ve never really repented of their own sins. When you have repented and you have found repentance, it will be easy for you to forgive other people. And the reason why forgiveness becomes easy for you is you are able to see yourself and acknowledge that if God didn\u2019t forgive you, you would be nowhere.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know what stage you are in your walk with God today but God\u2019s Word is true today as it was yesterday. \u2018he that covers his sin shall not what prosper<\/em>, but he that confesses and forsakes<\/strong> will have mercy\u2019. <\/em>You know that you need to repent because the Holy Spirit has been reminding you about that thing in your life that you need to confess before God and forsake. Like David, it may be wired into you and you seem powerless over it. God\u2019s strength is made perfect in weakness. Lift up your hands by faith wherever you are and cry out to God today.<\/p>\n
