By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"https:\/\/bible.com\/116\/1ti.6.18-19.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">1 Tim 6:18-19<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The good news and bad news is that you are rich. Good news because God wants you to be rich for your enjoyment and all that He wants you to do. Bad news because being rich is one of the greatest challenges you will face spiritually. The greatest contender for your heart with God is money &#8211; the acquisition, retention, and multiplication of money. Money challenges our priorities because it gives us options. Wealth is deceitful, it promises what only God can deliver. We all have come to a point in our lives where we believe <!--more-->that if we just had more money, <em>xyz<\/em> occurrences will stop. The reality is that <em>xyz<\/em> occurrences are to reveal who you really are in your heart. Money is an amplifier. Money only amplifies issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Money doesn\u2019t always automatically move from you to the poor or even to God. You have to be intentional about being a blessing to people. Be deliberate about giving God what belongs to Him because God can do with 10% what you cannot achieve with a 100%. The truth is whether you pay your tithe or not, God\u2019s work will be done. God didn\u2019t give us permission to test Him in any other area but with money [tithing]. Why? It is because of what money can do to the heart of a man. If you want to test God by walking on water, don\u2019t test God so you don\u2019t drown. If you say you want to test God by commanding stones to become bread, please look well before you take the first bite, your teeth may get broken. But when it comes to your tithe God says <em>test Me<\/em>. God expects us to be benevolent and rich in good works. But your tithe is not for the homeless. That is benevolence. If you give what you call your tithe to the homeless, you have not tithed. Your tithe belongs to your local church. That\u2019s what the Bible says.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even though we will be intentional givers but we will give according to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. \u2018<em>But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative\u2014that is, the Holy Spirit\u2014he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you<\/em>\u2019 <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"https:\/\/bible.com\/116\/jhn.15.16.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">John 15:16<\/a>. I am praying that \u201c<em>Today when you hear his voice, don\u2019t harden your hearts<\/em>\u201d <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"https:\/\/bible.com\/116\/heb.4.7.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Heb.4:7<\/a>. It is my prayer for you today is that you will be a rich giver and that you will give more and more and more. I pray that you will experience the joy and peace that comes with giving, in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: I decree that I will be rich in good works and generous to those in need, in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.
