One thing we don\u2019t agree on for instance is the number of times we should bathe in a day. She feels we should bathe three times a day. I say why? Is once not enough? Twice maybe but not three times! It is a minor issue; it does not matter. <!--more-->Even how we relate to God when we pray is different. If we pray for an hour, I can pray in tongues for forty-five minutes but my wife is the opposite. I do not know how she does it, talking to God in her understanding. She just goes on and on, she prays in tongues but more in her understanding. We do not agree on that but again, it doesn\u2019t matter. We are happy because I respect her views and she respects mine. But when there are conflicting directional issues, there is no question on whose direction we are going to take. Does that make me a dictator husband? No, it is not dictatorship; it is simple and straightforward theocracy. Two cannot walk together unless they agree. So in marriage, when there is a conflict in direction, take the husband\u2019s direction as long as it doesn\u2019t contravene God\u2019s Word. But if it contravenes God\u2019s Word, do not agree. I will never move in a direction that contravenes God\u2019s Word but if I do, I have settled it with my wife to disagree with me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Third cause of disagreement is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">harmony issues<\/span>. If two people cannot live in harmony, there is going to be a problem. If you cannot live in harmony with God, you cannot walk with God. If you cannot live in harmony with your siblings, you cannot be in companionship with them. In <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/exo.33.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Exodus 33<\/a>, God was telling Moses about His decision to give the children of Israel the Promised Land but not to go with them. Moses pleaded with God and eventually prevailed, God changed His mind and went with them. But God said something crucial, \u201c<em>\u2026But I will not travel among you, for you are a stubborn and rebellious people. If I did, I would surely destroy you along the way\u201d<\/em> <a title=\"Read the Bible\" href=\"https:\/\/bible.com\/116\/exo.33.3.nlt\" target=\"_blank\">Ex.33:3<\/a>. This is a question that should bother you; think carefully about it and then answer it truthfully. When it comes to God, are you stubborn and rebellious? If you are, then you need to change today because you need God to be with you. By the grace of God, there is no instruction God has given me that I have not obeyed. Sometimes it is difficult but by God\u2019s grace there is nothing I can look back to in my house that speaks of my disobedience. It does not even exist in my bank account.
