Eph.5:25 &amp;33<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Everyone who desires to have an excellent marriage must seek competence, sacrifice and devotion. Without which your marriage may not stand the test of time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competence:<\/strong> Husbands and wives must seek the skills required to take their <!--more-->marriage to the next level and execute them excellently well. Acquire the right skills in the bedroom, kitchen, love, communication and listening. Don&#8217;t waste your single days despising married people or being depressed. Instead exercise the three \u201cP&#8217;s\u201d of waiting \u2013 Prepare, Ponder and Pray. If you are incompetent as a single person you will be incompetent married. Incompetence has led to a lot of divorces.\u00a0 You need to constantly improve your skill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sacrifice:<\/strong> &#8216;<em>love&#8230; even as Christ also loved the Church, and gave Himself for it<\/em>&#8216;. If you cannot live pure as a single person you also cannot live pure when you are married. Marriage does not take away the temptation for adultery or fornication. Temptations don&#8217;t go away when you are married; you must deal with it when you are single. You must be willing to sacrifice your personal needs for the joy of everyone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Devotion:<\/strong> &#8216;<em>Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so <strong>love<\/strong> his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she <strong>reverence<\/strong> her husband<\/em>&#8216;. You must be ready to play your part in marriage. You must also recognize your devotion to God Almighty who instituted Marriage. &#8216;<em>Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral<\/em>&#8216;.
