Hezekiah knew that God did not need Isaiah\u2019s permission to help him. So when Isaiah had delivered his message from God, Hezekiah faced God himself. And it was because he knew that God does not need the permission of the <!--more-->prophet to help him. And when God wanted to help him, God sent the same prophet back to Hezekiah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cGo back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, \u2018This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord. <sup>\u00a0<\/sup>I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will rescue you and this city from the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own honor and for the sake of my servant David.\u2019\u201d<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/2KI.20.5-6\" target=\"_blank\">2kings 20:5-6<\/a>. I pray that everyone bearing good news concerning you but is going in the wrong direction, God will send back to you, in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It takes humility to acknowledge that you have a need. Pride is the destruction of some people. It takes humility to acknowledge that you have a problem and ask for help. And God says, \u201c<em>A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench<\/em>\u2026\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/1\/isa.42.3\" target=\"_blank\">Isa.42:3<\/a>\u00a0. David understood this, \u201c<em>The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not reject\u201d <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/100\/psa.51.17\" target=\"_blank\">Ps.51:17<\/a>. So Hezekiah went to God and said,<em><sup>\u00a0<\/sup>\u201c<strong><u>Remember<\/u><\/strong>, O Lord, how I have always been <strong><u>faithful<\/u><\/strong> to you and have <strong><u>served<\/u><\/strong> you single-mindedly, always <strong><u>doing what pleases you<\/u><\/strong>.\u201d Then he broke down and wept bitterly\u201d <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/2ki.20.3\" target=\"_blank\">2kings20:3<\/a> [emphasis added].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sadly, there are people who cannot go to God and say remember how I have served you because God will ask, where? When? You? One of the greatest lies any Christian can embrace is that your faithfulness and your service do not count [it does not matter]. Listen, your faithfulness and your service can deliver you from death. Believe me, it can!
