\u2018But the angel said, \u201cDon\u2019t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn\u2019t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body\u2019 Mark 16:6<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Let me tell you a story about what happened that day when Jesus was crucified. Crucify Him the crowd shouted and crucify Him they did. Jesus said \u2018Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit\u2019. Picture the jubilation in the kingdom of darkness. satan shouting in between sips of his drink; his<\/span><\/p>\n

demons, principalities, and powers dancing \u2018we got Him\u2019.\u00a0 The rich man from the story of Lazarus happily asking \u2018does this mean we are going to be in charge\u2019. And across the gulf, there is massive tension in Paradise, Lazarus confused saying \u2018Father Abraham, what is going on?\u2019. David immediately looks up \u2018My God, You promised not to <\/strong>leave my soul in the grave\u2019. The gulf is shaking owing to the loud jubilation in the kingdom of darkness. Suddenly, loud, confident and commanding footsteps; a worried satan asks \u2018what is that sound, what is this sound I am hearing? Immediately he orders the demons in charge of the gates and the everlasting doors to securely lock <\/strong>them. The demons report back to say the job is done; satan snorts \u2018let\u2019s see how He will gain entrance or take victory\u2019. Jesus approaches the gates and a voice from Heaven says \u2018Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in\u2019. And the demon on guard inquires \u2018Who is this King of glory?\u2019 The angel replies \u2018The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in\u2019. The demon again inquires \u2018Who is this King of glory?\u2019 And the angel answers \u2018The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory\u2019. And the gates burst open. Jesus walks into the domain of satan and bruises his head, takes the keys of death and hell. Then He goes to paradise, sets them free and says to David \u2018I told you I was coming for you\u2019. \u2018He led captivity captive\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

Prayer [song]<\/strong>: For death could not hold Him captive, even in the grave, Jesus is Lord. In the Name of Jesus, let every ancient door and every barrier standing before me burst open now. Amen.<\/p>\n
