No one\u2014for God himself has given us right standing with himself.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I agree that there has been a lot of abuse on claims that \u201cGod said\u2026\u201d but you must know how to deal with it as a child. When someone comes to you with, \u201cGod said xyz\u201d, you simply tell him or her to wait because you need check with your Father. He is your Father and you can check with Him. Some people will get upset with you because they do not expect you to do that. But do not take their word for it. I am not saying you should not trust people. I am saying you should check with God because God sent Jesus so you can have access <!--more-->to Him easily.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>The orphan mentality is performance oriented. The orphan feels the need to earn his place through performance. A son knows that his position is secure in the Father.<\/li>\n<li>The son can be corrected but an orphan cannot take criticism. The Bible states clearly that who the Father loves, He chastises.<\/li>\n<li>The orphan always feels that God is unfair. God has dealt him or her, an unfair blow. So when things go wrong, the orphan will typically run from God whereas the comfort of the child is in the arms of the Father.<\/li>\n<li>The Israelites said the Lord is so good; they personalized God\u2019s goodness. Someone that has an orphan mentality finds it difficult to receive and to give love. There are couples that find it difficult to receive love and to give love. And the reason is he or she is struggling with an orphan mentality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ezra identified all these traits and took time out to teach the people the Word of God and show them who they are in God. A lot of people do not know their worth; in fact they feel worthless. But when you are in doubt about what you are worth, just look at the Cross of Calvary and see Jesus; that is what you are worth. You are worth Jesus going to the cross, dying and rising again. That is what you are worth. The orphan will interpret Jesus\u2019 death on the Cross to be a sacrifice for everybody but the son will say Jesus died for me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, thank You for sending Jesus to die just for me. I pray that this truth will renew me daily and purge every orphan mentality, in Jesus Name.
