He uncovers much more because he stays with questions much longer. You and I have to learn to stay with questions much longer. Literarily wrestle with the question until illumination comes. We will be spending time examining five seemingly simple questions. My advice is, stay with them like Einstein says, until you get clear answers. And as you wrestle with each one and resolve it, you will go forward faster, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Question 1: Who do I need to forgive? You need to ask yourself this question because un-forgiveness is like pouring gravel into the engine chamber of a working machine. Eventually that engine will crash. That is how un-forgiveness is to our destinies. So you need to consistently ask, “who do I need to forgive?” The truth is the closest people to us usually cause the deepest pain we can ever feel. And it is because we are most vulnerable to them. Zec.13:6 “And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.”

The deepest wounds to wrestle [or grapple] with are the wounds that are caused by the people closest to us. This is why you can find people that have been married for twenty-five years but are arch-enemies and they are still living together. You hear statements like, “in 1925 you said this about my father and on the 2nd of April 1932 at 2pm, you said this about my mother!” People are holding on to offences not realizing that in the spiritual, un-forgiveness is a showstopper.

You need to forgive for your own sake. Usually when people narrate their reason for holding onto offenses, you get the sense that they believe that they will be doing the other person a favor if they forgive.
