But go find my brothers and tell them, \u2018I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is finished!\u201d Jesus said and He took the key to death and hell from satan and bruised his head. He was taking the Blood, the atoning sacrifice to the altar in heaven and he was leading captivity captive. This was the most crucial part of the assignment.<!--more--> And on the way, Jesus heard Mary\u2019s voice crying and asking, \u201cWhere have you taken my Lord?\u201d Taking the Blood to the altar was the most important thing at that moment but the Bible says in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/1\/MAT.12.20.kjv\">Matt.12:<sup>20<\/sup><\/a> (KJV) \u201cA bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/116\/PSA.34.18.nlt\">Psa.34:<sup>18<\/sup><\/a> \u201c<em>The Lord is close to the broken hearted;\u00a0he rescues those whose spirits are crushed<\/em>.\u201d So, Jesus turned to Abraham, David, Job, Joshua and the others and pleaded with them to give Him a few minutes to attend to Mary. The Bible says that people began to see their dead that were righteous ones. Perhaps while waiting for Jesus, David probably went to check on his grandchildren. Jesus approached Mary but he first tested her to see if her heart was right. He asked, \u201cWho are you looking for?\u201d If her heart was not right, He would have disappeared but when He saw that she was desperately seeking Him, He called her name in a way that only He would and she shouted \u201cRabboni!\u201d And Mary reached out to hug Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Do you know that if Mary had hugged Jesus, that would have defiled the entire sacrifice on The Cross and rendered it of no effect? Imagine the risk Jesus took just because he could not ignore a broken heart. He put everything on the line just because Mary was heartbroken. If you are really God\u2019s child, you can be rest assured that God would attend to your broken heart. And Jesus said, \u201cdo not cling to me; the sacrifice is not yet completed\u201d. And Mary understanding spiritual things left Him and Jesus went to complete the work of atonement. The resurrection is so important to our faith. In fact, it was what the early church centered its teaching on. They talked about the resurrection of Jesus because they knew that if anyone comes in contact with the resurrection power, it is all they will ever need.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Prayer [song]: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! There\u2019s something about Your Name. Master, Saviour, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain. Kings and kingdoms shall all pass away but there\u2019s something about Your Name.
