The second step is that you Wait for it<\/em>. That is why it is called a prophecy, you will have to wait for it. Sometimes when prophecies are released, the fulfillment is instant. Some other times, it is not instant. \u2018\u2026If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently<\/em>, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed\u2019 Habak.2:3.<\/a> Your waiting is an expression of the fact that you have received it. You cannot wait for a Word you have not received. Perhaps you have a prophecy concerning your marriage but right now your marriage is the complete opposite. Wait patiently for it. Waiting time can be very painful times but waiting time is not wasted time. Many of us think the time spent waiting is wasted time. It is not because God is working something out for you. Wait! In the meantime Prepare<\/em> for what you are waiting for; Ponder<\/em> about the prophecy; and continue to Pray<\/em>. We must not give up on Nigeria, we must trust God that all He has spoken will come to pass.<\/p>\n

The third step is that you Protect it<\/em>. \u2018Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord\u2019s battles\u2019 1Tim.1:18<\/a>. You protect the prophecy by waging war with it. Paul advices you wage war with the prophecies spoken into your life. In other words by warring with them you will fulfill God\u2019s purposes and the prophecy will come to pass. The first way of protecting the prophecy is you war with it. War also means you work. God has given an idea; process it and work hard at it. People think that once God has spoken it, it will happen if they work at it or not. Absolutely not; it becomes a tool and direction for you to work. Go back to it and work hard. Secondly you protect the prophecy by keeping quiet [Daniel 12:4]<\/a>. Some of us just talk too much. Contrary to confessing because if you speak where you are not supposed to, you will expose what God has given you to unnecessary warfare.<\/p>\n

Thought:<\/strong> What God given idea have you abandoned? In that prophecy lays wealth for generations<\/p>\n
