The first thing is, you need to see yourself how God has placed you. Becoming parent means you are representing God in your child\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I know to some people this may sound like blasphemy, but it is the truth. Parenting means representing God; that should be sobering and keep you on your toes. Each time you relate with your child, you must remain conscious of the fact that your actions will determine how he or she sees God. It will determine whether he or she will embrace God or struggle in his or her relationship with God.<\/p>\n<p>Why do you think some pastor\u2019s children never want to get saved or have anything to do with church? It is because they see their father\u2019s life at home and conclude that they do not want to have anything to do with God or the things of God. Parenting is a huge responsibility that God has conferred on us. By God\u2019s grace, as a patriarch over God\u2019s Favourite House, the weight of being God\u2019s representative is huge and it makes me sober. If you ever see me looking sober, this is what I am thinking about. It makes me cry to God consistently for help. I cannot tell what people are up to at every point in time, God alone knows. So, I cry to God to protect everyone He has put in my care.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/ff.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-9452\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/ff-300x251.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"255\" height=\"213\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The greatest purpose of all parenting is to show who God is. When your children can say they understand what it means to have a heavenly Father just by looking at you &#8211; that is great parenting. However, no one can become a representative of a God they do not even know. Knowing and experiencing God gives us the ultimate template for parenting. To help us enter the zone of great parenting, we must understand that great parents are great leaders who exercise their authority within the boundaries of love, wisdom, and sufficiency. Anything outside of this will lead to abuse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong>: Father, I ask for the wisdom for parenting in such a way that my children will hunger for and fall in love with You, in Jesus Name.
