{"id":9742,"date":"2018-11-07T00:01:54","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T23:01:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/?p=9742"},"modified":"2018-11-04T17:26:12","modified_gmt":"2018-11-04T16:26:12","slug":"cc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/2018\/11\/07\/cc\/","title":{"rendered":"In All Things"},"content":{"rendered":"<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-9742-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NOV-7.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NOV-7.mp3\">https:\/\/www.gfhlive.tv\/freshfire\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NOV-7.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/1\/PSA.92.1-2.KJV\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>Psa. 92:<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><i><sup>1<\/sup><\/i><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"><i> (KJV) \u201cIt is a good thing to give thanks unto the\u00a0Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b><i><sup>2\u00a0<\/sup><\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">God instructs us in His Word to be thankful in all things. Even though the situation you are in is challenging, thank Him because <i>all things work together for those that love God and have been called according to His purpose<\/i>. <\/span><!--more--><span class=\"s1\">So, whether the things are from the enemy, from the broken system, or even as a result of judgment from God, all things are going to work together for your good. Guess what? That is enough for me to thank God. A lot of the time, people that are going through a rough patch in their lives often seek to know what God\u2019s will is for them. Gratitude is God\u2019s will for you and me. Gratitude to God [not necessarily for what has happened] is God\u2019s will for you and me. God wants you to thank Him in spite of the crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Can someone be thankful [filled with gratitude] and then be depressed at the same time? Can you be thankful [filled with gratitude] and worry at the same time? Can you be thankful [filled with gratitude] and fearful at the same time? So, when people are fearful, worried, or depressed, it shows that they do not have roots. I know it is a human thing to feel fear but you do not need to stay afraid. Roll it over to Jesus and thank Him in everything. Gratitude is always God\u2019s will for you \u2013 always! I will show you four reasons why. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">#1. <\/span><span class=\"s3\"><b>Gratitude Honours God:<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> Gratitude is always God\u2019s will for you because gratitude honours God. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/search\/bible?q=PSALM%2050%2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ps.50: <\/a><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/search\/bible?q=PSALM%2050%2023\"><span class=\"s2\"><b><sup>23 <\/sup><\/b><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">\u201c<i>But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me<\/i>.\u201d God says when we show up in His Presence and just give thanks to Him, it truly honours Him. By way of having an action plan, I want to challenge you to say, \u201cthank You\u201d to God when you wake up in the morning &#8211; before you speak to any human being. That is if you are not doing it already.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">#2. <\/span><span class=\"s3\"><b>Gratitude Creates Friendship<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/1TH.5.11\">:<\/a><\/b><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/116\/1TH.5.11\"><span class=\"s1\"> 1 Thess.5:<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b><sup>11<\/sup><\/b><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"><b>\u00a0\u201c<\/b><i>So encourage each other and <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><b><i>build each other up<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u2026<\/i>\u201d [with emphasis]. That same word <i>build<\/i> means, appreciate each other. Gratitude creates friendship with God and man. If you see a man that is really, consistently grateful to God, that man becomes a friend of God easily. If one out of your six children is always grateful, I can guarantee your relationship with that child will be on a different level. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Prayer<\/b>: Father, it is indeed a good thing to give thanks to You and I will sing praises unto Your name, O Most High, in the morning and every night, in Jesus Name.
