Carrying Fire

 His head and His hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And His eyes were like flames of fire. Rev.1:14

Do not be unaware of your authority as a Christian and what you are carrying on the inside. Remember that you are not of this world even though you are in this world. You are carrying fire on the inside of you. I stumbled on this truth a while back in the church where I was serving at that time. A particular member of the praise team never could look me in the eye regardless of how many times I would ask her to. Later on I heard the Power of God fell during a service and she was arrested. She confessed that she could not look me in the eye because there was fire in my eyes. ‘…and His eyes were like flames of fire’; you are made anew, built in the image of Christ Jesus. If you believe that you are made in the image of God, have His Spirit then you must also realize that the fire comes with the package. You are carrying fire on the inside of you! You must walk in the consciousness of this truth always. Stop running away from people and situations, face them knowing that you carry fire on the inside of you. Let evil forces look at you and run because of the Spirit within. ‘Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them’ Acts 2:3. Imagine that, you do not only carry fire on the inside of you, the Holy Spirit has given you added ability to speak fire into every situation. Who should walk taller than a child of God? Stay close to the Word and the Spirit and you will be amazed at what you will learn about your new self in Christ Jesus.

 Prayer: Father, I ask afresh for an infilling of the Holy Spirit to move me to my next level of spiritual authority.
