Never Stop

Romans 8:26 “A similar thing happens when we pray. We are weak and do not know how to pray, so the Spirit steps in and articulates prayers for us with groaning too profound for words.” (Voice)

We began to explore the mysteries of prayer yesterday and the first is, Mysteriously It Seems That God Will Not Act Unless We Pray. How can the creator of the Heavens and the earth be limited to the prayers of a mortal man? Read the rest of this entry

Pray!

Psalm 55:17 “Evening and morning and at noon, I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.” (NKJV)

Starting Point

1 Thess.5:17 “Never stop praying. Make your life a prayer.” (NLT & TPT).

Prayer

Rom.8:26 “A similar thing happens when we pray. We are weak and do not know how to pray, so the Spirit steps in and articulates prayers for us with groaning too profound for words.” (Voice)

What does prayer mean to you? From my interactions with people, it is pretty clear to me that we all need to understand prayer better. Some people say, what is in prayer? Voices I

Psalm 27:8 “My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”

Joy Restored

Nehemiah 8:10 “…Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

We are going to start our devotion today with a survey and the question is, what would you say is the easiest thing for you to lose? For me it used to be my keys until I solved the problem by creating a house for my keys. What is the easiest for thing you to lose? Read the rest of this entry

Humble Bow

Philip.2:9 “Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!” (TPT).

What has God said to you? What are you doing? That is how you will know if humility is flowing, or you are cutting off the flow. In all my years of pastoring and counselling couples through marital issues, I cannot remember any party in the marriage admitting that it was his or her Read the rest of this entry

The Big Deal, II

Isa.62:6-7 “O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord.  Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.”

What is the big deal about midnight prayer? The sixth reason is Midnight Is The Turning Point Between Night And Day. Ask Paul and Silas, the turning point happens at midnight. Some things in the spirit realm are speaking to us and they are instructing us. Read the rest of this entry
